I know how frustrating it can be when something in your home gets broken. Why? Well, I’m the owner of a little house outside Chicago and a proud father of four kids. Needless to say that we experience some not so nice surprises every month and whether that’s be a problem with the garage door opener, the microwave stop working or even the solar panel on the roof not generating the electricity it should.
I’m not saying we have to go to bed early at night because we have no electricity. When something big happens of course we call over a technician, but generally I’m an advocate of do-it-yourself and home repair / maintanance can be quite fun, too.
Obviously, it’s not that fun when you first start out and have no skills or experience in anything. Well, but that’s just how it is and everyone starts out like that. So the reason why I have created this blog is simple: I would like to document my experiences with all sorts of work and construction at home. The one reason is that I can always come back and see how I have done it in the past, but then also it might be interesting for you guys to follow along and hopefully you find some advice useful for your own home.
Alright guys, that’s pretty much it. If you want to get in touch with me please head over to my contact page.
